Downloading Podcasts

Some listeners have asked how they can save the podcasts to listen to offline, and perhaps not through a streaming app.

It’s straightforward to do. But it requires four steps.

First, on any podcast’s page, click the Share link in the player. This will display a different interface for the streaming plugin.

Next, click the download button. Counter-intuitively, this doesn’t download anything. Instead, it opens a new web page in your browser and begins streaming the podcast to it.

For the third step, click the vertical three dot menu in the small streaming control that opened in the new page.

Finally, click the Download link. This will let you save the podcast, as an MP3 file, wherever you want to.
